Magdalene Adegoke (fondly called Meg by her friends) was born on the 20th of November 1973 in Lagos to the family of Late Francis Ebegbune a retired Police Officer and Felicia Ebegbune a retired Civil Servant. 

She had her primary education at Ereko Methodist School, Lagos then proceeded to Falomo High School, Ikoyi Lagos for her secondary school education. She obtained an Ordinary National Diploma(OND) in Mass Communication from the Institute of Science and Technology Enugu after which she went to Delta State University, Abraka for her Bachelor in Arts Degree in English & Literary Studies and then Lagos State University(LASU) for her Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a bias in Human Resources.

Magdalene had a brief stint practicing journalism with Bi- Communication the producers of Crime Fighters, the Police and You! She later joined Sulphurstreams Limited, an Indigenous Petroleum Products Marketing Company as a receptionist in 2005 and grew through the ranks to become the Head of Administration and Human Resource. She attended trainings both locally and internally (Oxford Princeton Programme, Oxford, England) Magdalene worked with Sulphurstreams for a total of 12 years before retiring voluntarily to take care of the home front. 

While at home and being a very restless person, she took on various skills acquisition trainings such as catering, beads making, dress making etc. to keep herself busy while taking care of her son IyanulOluwa.

To formally pursue her passion for organizing and coordinating events, in 2018 she decide to enroll in the Busybee Event Academy to pursue a professional career in Event Planning. Magdalene is a certified Event Planner, Mixologist, Public Speaker and just recently Florist. She runs her own Events Planning and Catering Company, Bloomville Signature and has planned a number of high profile weddings, birthdays, burial ceremonies and some corporate events.

She got married to her Heartthrob Babafemi Adegoke in 2004, a man she shares the same birthday with. The union is blessed with a wonderful son, IyanulOluwa Adegoke. 

Inner Wheel 

Her journey into Inner Wheel commenced in 2002 when her husband got inducted into the then Rotary Club of Mushin. She served in the executive of Inner Wheel Club of Mushin for several years and was inducted the Club President of Inner Wheel Club Mushin in 2007. She was the life wire of her Club. She began her journey into the District in 2011 when she got elected to serve as the District Secretary, a post she held for two years consecutively and performed exceptionally well. In 2018, She changed her membership from IWC Mushin to IWC Surulere when the District was divided into two and served as the Club Treasurer. Once again in 2019 she got elected to serve as the District Secretary for the third time. As the District Vice Chairman 2022-2023, she served as the Installation Chairman of the District Committee for the last Inner Wheel Year.

She has attended several Inner Wheel Conferences & Rallies as well as Rotary Conferences & Convention both home and abroad like in Germany, Reunion Island, Mauritius, India, Birmingham etc.

Magdalene loves her Lord with a great passion. She is an active Member of Our Saviour’s Church TBS. She is a Counsellor and a Facilitator at the Grace Life Discipleship Ministry. She has a passion for charitable works.

She loves Dancing, Singing, Cooking, Travelling and Meeting new people.
